Industrial image processing: examples

One of the most difficult stages of application implementation comes between determination of the general viability and implementation in a complex machinery and production environment.

Taken at face value, checking the position of labels appears to be a standard image processing task and perfectly run of the mill. However, profound know-how and experience are necessary if you want to check labels in an environment with trigger sequences of < 50 ms and ultra-fast handling systems of 8 m/s and more, possibly also in a damp or dirty environment, and if the object can only be viewed via mirrors.

To date, mevisco has developed and implemented a large number of complex applications for a whole range of tasks. Some of our customers use more than one hundred checking systems developed by us every day. That’s why the application examples show only a small selection of solutions we have already implemented together with our customers.
