There is a major focus in today’s packaging industry on ever faster labelling technology. Manufacturers also increasingly want distinctive product design and first-class finishes. Highly specialised companies manufacture labelling machines that are capable of meeting these requirements.

However, quality fluctuations in externally sourced products (labels and packing) lead to unwanted side effects that prevent exact application of the labels. Here, only an optical check of each part produced guarantees a 100% quality control.

Equally important is surface checking of packaging materials. There is a wide range of possible surface faults, e.g. inclusions or fine streaks. Sometimes these faults are barely visible to the eye, but our specially developed system solutions reliably detect them.
